Sam and Sean had a romantic garden wedding at the Los Altos History Museum. We started off the day with pics of Sam and her girls getting ready at the Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto. The hotel had the most beautiful light coming through its windows, so we took advantage of that to do some gorgeous shots of Sam’s rings, shoes, and other little details (We totally couldn’t help ourselves and had to do a few pics of Sam in front of the windows, too!). Once we were done at the hotel, we headed over to the museum for their pre-ceremony pics. Museums are always such a fun and unique place to have a wedding, and each one is always so different from our typical venues! The Los Altos History Museum has a beautiful garden setting with trees and flowers all over the property. We are total suckers for wooden fences, so we decided to do Sam and Sean’s first look in front of a vine-covered one in the back of the property. Sam’s strapless, sweetheart dress with lace detail was beautiful, and we loved how it looked with all the fun buildings that they had on the property. Sam and Sean’s ceremony took place under the arbor in the central courtyard of the museum with the arbor decorated with garlands and the same lovely cream and pink flower bouquets that Sam and her girls had. Their reception was decorated with a vintage and postcard theme, and we loved their idea of having each of the guests write them message and well-wishes on the back of their own postcard.
