Looking for ideas about where to have your ever after session and want to stay in state? Look no further! These are a few of the epic locations we’ve shot in California.
Patrick’s Point Park and Trinidad Beach: Elisa and Robby
Patrick’s Point has so many breathtaking areas that are great for taking photos. One of them is this amazing, gigantic, cliff-like rock called Wedding Rock, which is just perfect for epic ever after photos. Only a few minutes away from there is Trinidad Beach. It has huge boulders, and (most importantly to our Elisa in this case) it has water she could charge into in her wedding dress! (It was so perfect that the water smashed against the big rocks at the perfect moment for Elisa and Robby’s kissing shot, too!)
Golden Gate Bridge and Fort Point, San Francisco: Stephanie and Grant
There’s nothing quite like Fort Point anywhere else in California. You can’t compare Stephanie and Grant’s ever after photos with any other session, and that’s what we love about this location. The fort itself simply incredible, and the view of the bridge is perfect!
The North Shore of Lake Tahoe: Grace and Trevor
The north shore of Lake Tahoe is covered in these amazing rocks (yes we love rock pics) that we just love to use for photos. Some of them even go out into the water, and with the mountains on the horizon it’s the perfect recipe for pics. Then if you’re feeling brave, you can do what Trevor and Grace did and head into the water for some out-of-this-world romantic shots!
Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco: Karen and Brendan
The Palace of Fine Arts is absolutely breathtaking! Throw a wedding dress in that set-up and it’s like a photoshoot from a dream! The luxurious architecture paired with the glamour of a bridal gown always looks so gorgeous.
Arcata Bottom, Stone Lagoon, and Trinidad Beach: Katie and Scott
The Arcata Bottom has these weathered wooden barns that make for beautiful, rustic pictures. Not far from there is the meadow at Stone Lagoon, which is amazing and right next to the beach so it gives you plenty to work with for epic shots.
Empire Mine State Park, Grass Valley: Sam and Jared
Empire Mine State Park has so many different pretty locations all in one spot! From its garden to its main brick building to its rustic aluminum barns, it’s the perfect place to go if you’re after a vintage spot for your ever after pics.
Monterey, Carmel, and 17 Mile Drive: Lydia and Aaron
There is so much to love about this area, from the huge, gorgeous beachside cliffs to the super romantic looking forest, to the boulder-covered coastline. This place gave us some of our signature photos, so it’s very close to our hearts and we get really excited when couples decide to do a shoot here! If you’re looking for an epic location that offers a bit of everything, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for sunset ever after pics, this is absolutely the place for you!
