Heather and Brian’s wedding was held at Ehrman Mansion at Sugar Pine Point State Park on Lake Tahoe. Sugar Pine Point is one of the most gorgeous spots on the entire lake, and the mansion there just adds to the whole scene. The shot below is at the pier that extends out into the lake below the mansion, and we just love how beautiful the landscape looks with all the rocks and water and the mountains in the distance.
We started off the day doing pics of Heather getting ready at the Sunnyside Lodge nearby.
Architecture has always been one of my favorite things to shoot, and the style and design of the mansion is so unique for California that I had a blast taking pics of it!
Sugar Pine Point has the most beautiful pine trees everywhere that make for such a romantic setting for weddings pics!
We absolutely love the little changing house that the mansion has right down on the lake.
Heather and Brian had their ceremony right down at the edge of the lake facing the water.
Brian is a baseball coach, and we loved the home plate that Heather had made for him for the ceremony!
The table names at the reception were all custom-printed baseballs with different positions on them.
This was the first time I ever tried to balance rings on top of a baseball, and I love the red threads going behind the rings!
Heather and Brian had their guests write cards to them to keep in a box and read on their anniversary.
The mansion looked so beautiful all lit up at twilight!
After cake, Heather and Brian had milk and cookies as a little treat for their guests. Dusty was beyond happy!
